Payroll Team Leader

£30k-£35k plus hybrid working
Our client, one of the UK's top 40 accountancy firms, are looking to recruit a Payroll Team Leader within their Norwich Office.
Candidates with considerable experience in Payroll and the ability to manage a team is desirable. Although not essential, a professional payroll & pensions qualification would be beneficial.
In your role, you will also be responsible for:
* Provide strategic leadership and encouragement to the Firm's payroll team.
* Assess the workload of fellow Payroll team members.
* Take charge of meeting your own payroll deadlines.
* Possess expertise in managing high-volume payroll operations.
* Serve as the primary contact for addressing escalated issues within the department.
* Evaluate, oversee, and introduce new procedures to advance departmental operations.
* Maintain strong relationships and accuracy in payroll functions while meeting service level agreements.
* Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
* Demonstrate specialised proficiency in all facets of payroll administration.
