We're looking for an Environmental Project Manager to join our East West Rail team based in St Neots, Cambridge. In this role you'll play a key role in delivering environmental surveys for the East West Rail contract.
Hours: 42 per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per year + £6.7k annual car allowance + private healthcare + excellent benefits.

What will you be responsible for?
* Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of environmental surveys, from planning and scheduling through to execution
* Acting as the central point of coordination between land access teams, technical leads, and specialist subcontractors
* Monitoring progress against schedules and budgets, proactively managing risks and resolving issues
* Ensuring all survey activities comply with relevant environmental, safety, and rail standards
* Liaising with clients, landowners, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication throughout the project
Qualifications
* Ideally a degree in Environmental Science or Sustainability (or equivalent), along with at least three years’ relevant experience
* Associate or Member status of a recognised professional body such as IEMA
* Experience managing environmental surveys or projects within major infrastructure or similar environments
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams and priorities confidently
* Clear, effective communication skills and a collaborative approach when working with clients, technical teams and wider stakeholders, Disability Confident
