Pepys Bar is a vibrant, known for great food and great service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experience Bars Manager to lead our front of House operations and drive continued success. About the role.
As the Bars Manager at Pepys Bar, you will take ownership of day-to-day bar operations ensuring smooth service, strong team performance, and high standards at all times. You will be responsible for team motivations, maintaining and ordering stock control, stocktake and delivering outstanding customer experiences, and making sure Pepys Bar remains one of the go to destinations in the town, The contract is based on 35 hours per week.
Key responsibilities Lead, train and support bar staff to deliver exceptional service. Oversee Bar operations, ensuring we are following all H&S procedures Managing rotas, staffing levels, and shift planning Maintain stock levels, ordering and inventory control. Ensuring licensing, Hygiene standards are followed Drive sales and contribute to promotional ideas Handle customer feedback Monitor cash handling, tills and financial procedures.
About you Were looking for someone who is Experienced in bar or hospitality management A confident and positive leader who motivates their team Highly organised, reliable and adaptable Customer focused with passion for hospitality Skilled in problem solving and communication Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays
