IT Project Manager - Merger & Acquisitions Integration--Remote--Permanent--£80k

Overview:

Our market leading global client is seeking a specialist IT Project Manager to lead the Digital Workstreams of a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration Programme. With an immediate focus on the integration of current acquisitions, this role will play a pivotal part in delivering scalable digital and business change across multiple acquisitions.

This role requires strong delivery leadership across digital work packages, deep business change and adoption planning, and the ability to manage a diverse and complex stakeholder landscape. You'll coordinate the seamless integration of acquired businesses into the core organisation – covering technology, HR, CRM, and End User Computing – while collaborating with colleagues leading on Finance and other key functional integrations.

This role reports to the Programme Manager and works closely with cross-functional leads. May oversee project analysts or workstream leads in a matrixed delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Delivery Leadership:

• Lead and coordinate digital integration projects across multiple concurrent acquisitions.

• Oversee the delivery of core integration work packages, aligned to business priorities and stakeholder expectations.

• Build and manage project plans, resource alignment, RAID logs, and status reporting to ensure clear visibility and governance.

• Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory requirements throughout integration activities.

Workstream Oversight:

• IT Onboarding & Infrastructure: Oversee timely provisioning of laptops/devices, user accounts, and access to collaboration tools. Lead MS365 tenant

migrations, Active Directory/Entra ID transitions, and coordinate legacy device replacements as part of Phase 1 scope. Facilitate access and migration to the

wider LRQA application portfolio in Phase 2, ensuring alignment with EUC standards and security protocols.

• CRM Integration: Drive end-to-end CRM alignment, including data cleansing, migration, and integration with SalesOps and MarketingOps, ensuring adoption

into the core operating model.

• HR & Finance Systems: Support onboarding into HR platforms and Finance integration planning in collaboration with the HR & Finance transformation teams.

Business Change & Adoption:

• Lead structured change and communication plans to support adoption of new systems and processes.

• Coordinate training, onboarding resources, and support materials to maximise adoption and minimise disruption.

• Support cultural integration by aligning onboarding and digital ways of working with organisational values.

Stakeholder & Sponsor Management:

• Engage and manage multiple sets of stakeholders and executive sponsors across acquired and core businesses.

• Facilitate regular governance and decision-making forums to track progress, resolve blockers, and align priorities.

• Build strong relationships with functional leads (Digital, HR, Finance, CRM, Operations) to maintain delivery momentum.

• Communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Scalability & Repeatability:

• Develop a scalable and repeatable approach to digital M&A integration that can flex to future acquisitions.

• Create and maintain playbooks, templates, and toolkits to support future integrations and reduce onboarding time.

Requirements:

• Proven history in Merger & Acquisition integration programme/project delivery, ideally in multi-national or complex environments.

• Demonstrated in integrating acquired businesses, including onboarding users, systems, and processes into a core operating model.

• Strong history in digital/technology-led transformation with business change at the core.

• History in End User Computing (EUC) rollouts, including provisioning of laptops/devices, Active Directory/Entra ID, and collaboration tools.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, identity management, IT onboarding, and infrastructure standardisation.

• Direct with CRM ecosystems (e.g., Dynamics 365), including data migration, lead/opportunity workflows, and client data management.

• Strong business change leadership with the ability to drive adoption, manage ambiguity, and guide stakeholders through transition.

• Exceptional stakeholder and sponsor management, particularly across multiple functions, regions, and organisational layers.

• Delivery and planning expertise using structured methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent).
