Team Manager Disabled Children's Referral and Access Team
We have an exciting vacancy in the Fostering Recruitment and Assessment Team for a Team Manager.
Job responsibilities
Full-time Team Manager for Disabled Children's Referral and Access Team.
You will work alongside the Children with Disabilities Teams (0-18) and the Young Adults Team (18-25). You will also work closely with our in-house providers of short breaks, health and education professionals and a range of private and voluntary organisations.
You will provide a supportive environment for Social Workers and alternatively qualified staff.
You will be working 37 hours a week, primarily based out of Scott House in Huntingdon, with hybrid options.
In this role you will allocate work, manage risk, ensure children and young people are supported by the right pathway including short break access and case transfers.
You will lead monthly case supervision and personal supervision, support team meetings, promote inclusive culture, ensure high quality services.
You will be a confident leader, able to motivate the team, understand safeguarding and statutory guidance, manage risk and make timely decisions.
About you
Qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration.
Experience of partnership working, delegation and leadership.
Resilience in a fast-paced, busy environment with strong judgement and organisational skills.
Solid understanding of SEND and safeguarding experience.
Requirements
* Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
* Understanding of SEND legislation and processes.
* Knowledge of statutory requirements and safeguarding.
* Supervisory experience.
