The Civil Operative will carry out a range of civil construction activities including ducting, trenching, reinstatement, cable laying, duct installation, chamber construction, and related works. The role involves open-cut trenching and heavy civils tasks across various surfaces, supporting telecom and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform civil works such as ducting, trenching, reinstatement, and cable laying.
* Install ducts, chambers, and associated equipment as per project specifications.
* Carry out open-cut trenching and heavy civils tasks safely and efficiently.
* Ensure all work is delivered to required standards and compliance guidelines.
* Follow site safety rules, project instructions, and quality procedures.
Requirements
* Proven experience in civil construction works (telecom civils preferred).
* Must hold valid Openreach accreditations.
* Possession of NRSWA units (Street Works qualification).
* Valid manual UK driving licence.
* Ability to work across different terrain and site conditions.
