Key Responsibilities: Operate manual lathes to produce precision components to customer specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Perform quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges). Work with a variety of metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. Maintain machinery and ensure a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with other machinists and fabricators to meet production deadlines.Requirements: Proven experience as a Manual Turner in a precision engineering environment. Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Flexibility to support other areas of the workshop when required.Desirable: Experience with manual machining either milling Familiarity with fabrication and welding processes
