Role
As a Head Housekeeper, you will play a central role in making our home warm and inviting. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene for our residents. The role requires excellent attention to detail and the leadership skills to ensure your team are performing at their best.
Responsibilities
* Lead a housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the home.
* Oversee the purchase, consumption and handling of cleaning chemicals.
* Manage the housekeeping budget and ensure adherence to health and safety requirements and infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
About you / Qualifications
* Previous experience of leading a housekeeping team, ideally within a social care or hospital environment.
* Highly motivated, professional in your approach with excellent communication skills.
* Genuine warm and friendly manner and ability to multitask where necessary.
* Subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check; authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
