Heavy Commercial Refrigeration Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Heavy Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to service, repair, maintain, and commission various heavy commercial refrigeration units. These include multi-compressor packages, food factory process cooling, blast cooling, spiral freezers, and F-Gas equipment.
You will work primarily from home, with occasional team jobs, covering territories in Southeast England such as Middlesex, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and London. The role involves planned work and being on-call 1 week in 6 for reactive call-outs, including weekends.

* Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 basic, with OTE £60,000 - £75,000 from extensive overtime

Candidate Requirements
* Hands-on experience with industrial or commercial refrigeration systems
* Experience in supermarket refrigeration or compressor systems
* F-Gas certification is essential
* Experience with Ammonia, CO2, or Hydrocarbon systems is a plus
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
* Solution-oriented, able to work under pressure
* Hardworking, motivated, with a full UK driving license
