Job Role: Supply Chain Co-ordinator
Location: North West Leicestershire
Contract: 3 months
Distinct is recruiting on behalf of a global Logistics business to recruit an interim Supply Chain Co-ordinator. This is an immediate start.
You can:
* Raise purchase orders and requisitions
* Maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers
* Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations including purchasing, warehousing, and logistics
* Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock level checks.
* Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in cost, quality, or delivery time.
* Resolve supply, delivery, or inventory issues promptly and efficiently.
* Manage car fleet and company car insurance
You will be:
* Organised with an eye for detail
* Prior experience working in supply chain/purchasing
* Ability to deal with requests quickly
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular); experience with ERP systems
