My client is one of the UK’s largest and fastest-growing independent plant and tool hire companies, operating across eighteen depots throughout the South of England, Wales, and Scotland. Account Manager Key Responsibilities
* Manage, develop, and grow a defined portfolio of existing customer accounts
* Drive the growth and performance of key accounts in line with company objectives
* Deliver and exceed sales growth targets across all products and services
* Research, develop, and present customer account proposals and commercial agreements
* Collaborate with local, regional, and internal marketing teams to maximise business opportunities
* Act as a brand ambassador across industry events, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities
* Provide market intelligence and customer insights to regional teams and senior management
* Maximise customer engagement and performance using internal customer management platforms
Account Manager Skills, Experience & Attributes
* Proven experience in sales and account development, ideally within a B2B environment
* Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
* Demonstrated success selling products and services to end users
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
