We at Work Lyf Group are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our clients team and support the smooth operation of the procurement processes. As a Purchasing Assistant, youll play a vital role in ensuring our clients supply chain runs efficiently, helping them maintain strong supplier relationships and meet the needs of our growing business.
Key Responsibilities
As a Purchasing Assistant, your day-to-day tasks will include:
Raising and expediting purchase orders to meet business demands
Communicating with suppliers via phone and email
Coordinating delivery schedules, managing back orders, and resolving shortages or returns
Matching supplier order confirmations with internal purchase orders
Maintaining accurate pricing and stock ordering policies
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
Collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless purchasing support
Handling ad-hoc indirect purchasing requests
Attending occasional face-to-face supplier meetings
Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
