What You Will Do
* Conduct Best Interest Assessments (BIA) in line with statutory requirements and DoLS legislation.
* Visit care homes and hospitals to assess mental capacity and review care arrangements.
* Provide independent oversight, ensuring that legal safeguards are robust and rights are protected.
* Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, families, and legal representatives to ensure decisions reflect the individual’s best interests.
* Produce comprehensive, evidence-based reports and recommendations.
