Smart Education is recruiting Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistants to join a specialist SEND primary school. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils with complex needs are supported to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEN, a patient and proactive approach, and a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Job Requirements:
. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
. Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school environment
. Confidence managing challenging behaviour
. Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
. Strong communication and teamwork skills
. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain)
. Valid passport
. Ability to provide 24 months of employer or academic references
Role Responsibilities:
. Provide classroom support to pupils with SEN and complex needs
. Assist with individual learning plans and personalised interventions
. Support social, emotional, and academic development
. Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
. Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
