Job Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Executive Lead and Deputy in developing, directing, and leading a high-quality PFI contract and operational management function. The post holder will oversee the delivery of PFI services across three projects, ensuring they meet the Trust’s strategic and operational needs.
The key focus areas include strengthening the Trust’s capacity in contract management and operational delivery, collaborating with corporate functions (procurement, ICT, Commercial, Finance), and providing excellent service to department heads and clinical services. The role also involves providing assurance regarding statutory compliance and managing risks associated with the PFI estate, infrastructure, and facilities services.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide senior operational leadership across three Trust PFI projects.
* Represent the Trust in contract discussions and commercial negotiations for the PFIs.
* Manage relationships and contract performance with PFI partners, including negotiations and reviews.
* Monitor and ensure performance of PFI service providers, resolving service issues as needed.
* Develop long-term strategic plans and robust business planning, considering financial uncertainties.
* Lead and promote effective team working and act as a role model across the PFI portfolio.
* Oversee policy and service development to ensure effective delivery of all PFI elements.
* Manage all budgets related to the operation of the PFI contracts.
