We are currently recruiting to the role of Business Support Officer 6 in Support Services East. This is a supervisor role which will be based at Lancashire House with the need to travel to other bases across the county of Lancashire.
The role of a BSO6 is to directly line manage and supervise a team of Business Support Officers who support Adult Social Care. This includes providing onsite and remote support such as delivering one to one supervisions, managing staff in line with Lancashire County Council policies and procedures, and monitoring workloads.
Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems is required in order to work with the Team Leader and other Business Support Officers with the monitoring, review and development of such procedures in line with current legislation.
Support Services has a strong team ethic and you will need to be able to work well in a team as well as use your own initiative. The role will require you to be proactive and there will be occasions where you will be expected to work with limited supervision.
We will provide you with excellent team support, regular supervision, training and opportunities to build on existing skills and knowledge within an established team.
