About the Role:
We are looking for a Mid-Level Test Engineer with a strong foundation in manual testing and a working knowledge of Azure DevOps practices. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through hands-on testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement of our QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute comprehensive manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
* Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Azure DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
* Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
* Log, track, and manage defects using Azure Dev Ops or similar.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation and test plans.
* Support the integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
* Provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements to processes and tools.
Required Skills & Experience:
* 2–4 years of experience in manual software testing.
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
* Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (Azure Dev Ops or similar).
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Desirable:
* Exposure to test automation tools (e.g. Cypress) is a plus.
* ISTQB Foundation Level or similar certification.
