About the Role

Teach Now are recruiting for an enthusiastic and organised School Administrator to join a thriving secondary school in Brent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced school environment, supporting vital areas such as exams, cover coordination, and general school administration.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day-to-day — working closely with senior leaders, teachers, and support staff to help the school continue its legacy of excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide efficient administrative support across exams, cover, and careers.

• Assist in coordinating exam timetables, student entries, and invigilation.

• Manage daily cover arrangements, ensuring smooth classroom operations.

• Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.

• Act as a go-to person for staff and students, supporting school-wide communication.

• Contribute to a positive, organised, and proactive school office environment.

About the School

This outstanding secondary school has been at the heart of the Brent community for over 85 years, with a proud tradition of academic excellence and inclusive education. The school offers fantastic facilities, a supportive leadership team, and a warm, collaborative working culture. Every day, you’ll help make school memorable for students and contribute to their success stories.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure.

• A strong communicator who can think quickly and problem-solve effectively.

• Experienced in school administration or similar roles.

• Confident using IT systems and managing data.

• Proactive, reliable, and ready to take initiative across multiple responsibilities.

• Previous experience supporting exams, cover, or careers in a school setting is highly desirable.

Why Join Teach Now?
