An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join one of North Lincolnshire’s most respected independent restaurants, known for its high standards, loyal following and refined Mediterranean-inspired cuisine.
This is a hands-on role within a well-established kitchen where everything is built around fresh ingredients, strong classical technique and consistent execution. The restaurant has built an outstanding local reputation for both food and service, making it a busy and rewarding environment for an ambitious chef.
Working closely with the Head Chef and senior team, you will play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting the brigade and delivering consistently high-quality dishes during service.

The Role
* Supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Leading service and confidently managing sections during busy periods
* Cooking fresh Mediterranean-inspired dishes to a consistently high standard
* Assisting with prep planning, ordering and stock control
* Maintaining kitchen organisation, hygiene and food safety standards
* Supporting and mentoring junior members of the brigade
* Contributing ideas towards menu development and seasonal dishes

The Ideal Candidate
* Currently working as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a quality fresh-food kitchen
* Experience within Mediterranean or Italian cuisine would be advantageous
* Strong organisational skills and confidence during service
* Passion for fresh ingredients and consistent cooking standards
* A team player with a positive and professional approach
