We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic and compassionate leader to manage our team within Hampshire, a drug and alcohol treatment and support service for individuals impacted by their own or someone else's use of alcohol or drugs.
Working as part of our leadership team, you will oversee a team of staff managing their own caseloads of clients, offering health support, embracing the concept of recovery and providing evidence‑based psychosocial interventions to service users. You will have responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of the hub you manage, ensuring that quality and effective treatment is provided to those accessing the service, and supporting and mentoring the team of recovery workers, administrators and trainees within that hub.

The vacancy is open to experienced managers or individuals with leadership skills and an understanding of drug and alcohol treatment services and is based in the Gosport hub for Inclusion Recovery Hampshire.
Full‑time Team Leader (working 37.5 hours per week) at Inclusion Recovery Hampshire's Gosport Hub.
You will be an integral part of a leadership team, making a real difference to people's lives and the wider communities in which we serve.
This Job Requires You To:
* Work alongside the Inclusion Management team in ensuring service targets are met by mentoring and supervising staff; to take a lead role in service promotion and encouraging new Service Users into treatment.
* Support staff in providing person‑centred treatment to their caseload of Service Users.
* Work collaboratively with the Service Manager, Service Leads and other Team Leaders on a day‑to‑day basis to ensure effective service delivery and staff support.
* Guide and support your team of staff in providing high quality, inclusive and non‑judgemental treatment to those in need.
Main Duties of the Job
* Be responsible for the day‑to‑day running of the hub, including establishing a timetable of activities for service users and rotas for staff.
* Supervise, manage and develop your staff team.
* Ensure the hub you lead provides high quality, effective and person‑centred treatment to those accessing the service.
* Undertake HR processes such as managing attendance, performance improvement planning and appraisals with staff.
* Recruit and induct new staff.
* Take action to support your staff team in working towards and achieving targets as set by commissioners.
* Understand data from the work undertaken to support your team in their day‑to‑day work within the hub.
* Promote Service User Involvement.
* Develop and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, partnership agencies and other organisations.
* Contribute to county‑wide management and governance meetings.
Person Specification
Experience (Essential)
* Previous experience of working in the drug and alcohol field.
* Previous line management/leadership experience.
* Experience undertaking HR processes such as managing attendance, performance improvement planning and appraisals with staff.
* Experience of working in partnership with other professionals and stakeholders.
* Proven ability to oversee operational performance, monitor caseloads and maintain high standards of service quality.
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Foundation Degree/HNC in a related field which may include counselling, social work, nursing, psychology, human resources, social studies, leadership and management.
