We are seeking a talented Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our client's prestigious team.
This role involves delivering high-quality endoscopy services, including both gastroscopy and colonoscopy, primarily under local anesthesia with or without sedation.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
* Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures to referred patients.
* Adhere to the British Society of Gastroenterologist guidelines and manage the collection and submission of Global Rating Scale and patient outcome data.
* Assist with incident and complaint root cause analysis reporting to the Medical Director and the Hospital Director.
* Validate discharge information and pathology results, ensuring they are sent to the necessary parties, such as GPs or local MOTs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Eligible for a GMC License to Practice.
* Experience in delivering gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
* Strong adherence to clinical guidelines and standards.
* Ability to participate in clinical audits, training, and quality assessment activities.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multi-professional team.
