Morson is looking for Engineering Technicians (RN) to support mechanical maintenance activities on surface ships and factory-based operations on site at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.
This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background and a passion for engineering.
Key responsibilities
* Assist in the mechanical assembly, maintenance, and repair of components and systems on vessels and within factory settings.
* Carry out inspections, fault diagnosis, and basic testing of mechanical systems.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance or production support.
* Familiarity with working on marine platforms, industrial, manufacturing or maintenance environments.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
* Strong understanding of health & safety practices in high-risk environments.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical or related discipline.
