We're Hiring: Business Operations Coordinator (12 month FTC)
Location: London, UK (Office presence required Mon-Thurs)
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs/week
TAG International is looking for anexceptionally organised and proactive Business Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic London team to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is a high-impact, multi-faceted role supporting TAG’s security and resilience programmes, delivered on behalf of clients like the UK FCDO, UN, and other global organisations.
About the Role:
You'll be at the heart of “the business of the business,” and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of TAG’s operations and supporting executive leadership.
Responsibilities include:
* Office & facilities management
* IT coordination and supplier relationships
* Health & Safety, environmental compliance, and ISO support
* Personal assistance to the CEO and C-suite when required
* Process improvement and operational support across teams
About You:
We’re seeking someone who is:
* Exceptionally well-organised and detail-oriented
* A natural multitasker with high emotional intelligence
* Trustworthy and discreet when handling sensitive information
* Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments
* Confident with Microsoft Office tools and general IT processes
* First Aid/Fire Marshal certified or willing to be trained
Key Skills & Experience:
The ideal candidate will bring:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business operations, office management, or executive support role
* Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities with composure and efficiency
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in liaising across internal teams and external stakeholders
* Experience coordinating with IT providers, overseeing systems, hardware, and user support
* Familiarity with compliance frameworks, including ISO standards, Health & Safety regulations, and environmental policies
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint)
* Experience supporting senior leadership – including diary and travel management, meeting coordination, and handling confidential communications
* A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work independently
* Prior experience within international development, consultancy, or government-funded environments is advantageous
