SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant - PMLD & Complex Needs
Wirral£90 - £100 per dayFull-time & Part-time Available
We are currently recruiting for SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants to support pupils with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) and complex needs in a specialist SEN setting.
This role involves supporting pupils with a range of needs including autism, complex medical needs, physical disabilities, sensory needs and communication difficulties. Some pupils require personal care, mobility support and 1:1 support throughout the school day.

The Role
* Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
* Assisting with personal care
* Supporting pupils with mobility and physical needs
* Supporting communication and sensory activities
* Working closely with teachers and therapists
* Helping create a safe, supportive learning environment
Requirements
* Experience supporting children or adults with SEN, PMLD or complex needs
* Patient, calm and caring nature
* Team Teach or moving & handling training desirable (not essential)
* Comfortable supporting with personal care desireable (not essential)
* DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
