Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of projects from technical design to construction stage
* Utilise Civils3D for detailed model creation and documentation, ensuring models are fully coordinated and clash-free
* Lead the production of high-quality detailed construction drawings for specific elements of railway station projects, ensuring integration with overall project models
* Support and liaise with the BIM Coordinator, BIM Manager and wider project team in the implementation of deliverables adhering to specified project standards and to facilitate issue resolution
* Assist in the maintenance of the project's CDE, ensuring accurate and timely information flow and adherence to data management standards
* Participate in quality assurance checks of drawings to ensure they meet the project's accuracy, detail, and information requirements
* Assist in monitoring compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project standards, contributing to regular reports on BIM deliverable status
* Work closely with other disciplines to ensure drawings/models are integrated and coordinated efficiently, attending regular coordination meetings as necessary
* Provide technical support and guidance to project team members on drawing and BIM-related issues, promoting best practices in model creation and management
Qualifications
* CAD/BIM Modeler/Technician with at least 5 years experience in major infrastructure/transportation projects
* Experience of working in an engineering production environment
* A railway, transportation or construction background
* Experience of delivering projects to UK BIM Standards including ISO 19650
* Proficient in using Autodesk software and in additional ProjectWise for CDE usage
* Experience in working within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the cohesive development of integrated project deliverables
* Good knowledge of UK design standards, such as Network Rail, HS2 and TfL
* Experience working with BEPs, TIDP, MIDP and Model Production Delivery Tables (MPDT)
* Ability to adapt to new BIM technologies and workflows, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
