Treasury SpecialistJob Type – Fixed-Term, Part-Time, Hybrid (4 months)Location – Central Support, Hemel Hempstead, with some travel to our amazing parksWhat we need, in a nutshell:We’re seeking an enthusiastic Treasury Specialist who will have a broad and varied remit which will include all aspects of the day to day running of the Treasury functions of Away Resorts. Ensuring compliance with internal processes and control with Bank accounts and safeguarding cash by supporting parks.Who are we?We are a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. With 27 amazing UK resorts, we pull out all the stops and add the bells and whistles to give our guests the holiday of a lifetime.Key responsibilities:If you can match the skills, experience and qualities listed below, we’d love to hear from you:Responsible for the end to end process for opening and closing bank accounts, signatories and user access to online banking portalsDevelop and maintain effective relationships with third parties, such as banks, cash carrier, card acquirer, and co-ordinate necessary administration and reportingEnsure that critical daily, weekly and month end reconciliations are performed, including bank reconciliations and control accounts, with appropriate investigation and resolution of variancesEnsure department policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated, and effectively implement process improvementsReviewing all payments outside BACS run to ensure no duplicate paymentsTo support parks with daily, weekend and monthly cash processes, investigating discrepancies in cashTo provide accurate and timely repot of costs/income in management accountsAll overs/unders investigated b park to ensure safeguarding of cash on park.Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:AAT/CIMA or equivalent is desired1 Years+ experience within a successful treasury departmentExperience working to tight deadlinesAbility to work under pressure, providing accurate high-quality work under tight deadlinesStrong organisational and analytical skillsAttention to detailGood communication skills and a team playerAbility to challenge existing processesIt’s the icing on the cake, if you have worked in a similar role on a holiday park.What we can offer you:This is a chance to use and stretch your skills set and build your career in one of the fastest growing and most exciting holiday companies in the UK.
