About the Company:
Highly regarded and respected civils contractor seeks a Planner to join the Team. The Company turnover is in the region of £250m per annum, with civils making up £150m, but with plans for major growth in the coming years. Project values range up to £50m, and they will operate as both a Tier 1 and 2.
About the Role:
The Planner will play a key role on 2 schemes, valued together at £40m. Both schemes form part of a wider, major project and growth spend on a scheme that has several years longevity in it. The specific works itself will involve RC, structures and general civils. The role will report into the Head of Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain detailed project programmes (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
2. Develop baseline schedules, critical path analysis and progress reporting.
3. Liaise with site teams, commercial and design departments to update programme status.
4. Identify risks, delays and mitigation strategies.
