Job Description
We are hiring for a Lounge Managerto lead nightly operations of Faena’s signature nightlife and lobby lounge venue at The Red Sea. This role ensures the smooth rhythm and flow of the space, exceptional guest engagement, team excellence, and the consistent delivery of Faena’s immersive and emotionally resonant atmosphere.
Working closely with the Music Curator, the Lounge Manager helps shape the nightly experience — from vibe and energy to programming and guest interaction — ensuring the venue reflects Faena’s artistic storytelling and high‑touch hospitality. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of nightlife dynamics, strong situational awareness, and an intuitive understanding of guest psychology in high‑energy, late‑night environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise front‑of‑house operations, including floor flow, table pacing, and service timing
* Collaborate with VIP hosts to manage table assignments, guest flow, and coordinated arrivals
* Monitor sound, lighting, music, and team energy to maintain the desired ambiance and room vibe
* Partner with the Music Curator to align nightly programming, music direction, and atmosphere
* Serve as the primary escalation point for guest concerns, resolving issues discreetly and with emotional intelligence
* Oversee team appearance, communication tone, and adherence to Faena grooming and service standards
* Conduct nightly briefings to share priorities, entertainment updates, and service expectations
* Support staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing performance management
* Deliver in‑the‑moment coaching to elevate service quality and team confidence
* Collaborate with bar, security, and entertainment teams to ensure safety, compliance, and smooth operations
* Maintain an engaged floor presence to anticipate guest needs and enhance the overall experience
* Ensure nightly reports, checklists, and logs are accurately completed
* Assist with venue readiness, opening preparations, and end‑of‑night closing procedures
* Uphold Faena’s signature standards for cultural energy, emotional engagement, and elevated nightlife atmosphere
Qualifications
* 3+ years of leadership experience in nightlife, lounges, luxury hotels, or high‑end hospitality
* Strong ability to manage VIP clientele, guest flow, and high‑profile relationships
* Excellent leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, and situational awareness
* Middle East hospitality experience strongly preferred
* Comfortable working in a high‑energy, late‑night environment
* Deep understanding of nightlife ambiance, music influence, and emotional guest engagement
* Familiarity with POS systems, table management platforms, and hospitality operating systems
* Charismatic interpersonal presence with the ability to read a room and guide team energy
