About the Candidate
The successful candidate will be an outstanding, versatile teaching practitioner, from industry or with teaching experience, with relevant vocational and leadership skills in the education and care sector. You will be able to lead a programme of study, monitor and support learners, and deliver high-quality classes that inspire and prepare students for their next steps.
You will have access to industry-standard classrooms and our Innovation Centre, which features an Immersive 360 Igloo and a Motion Capture studio.
You should possess or be willing to work towards a Teaching Qualification.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an Education, Early Years, or SEND specialist to join Sunderland College as a Lecturer and Programme Lead in the Education, Children, and Families team. The role involves teaching across 16-19, adult, and HE programmes, possibly up to two evenings per week (with time off in lieu).
You will collaborate with key employer and university stakeholders and have opportunities to develop your sector knowledge and skills.
