About the Role
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? At NG Bailey Facilities Services, we are on the lookout for a passionate Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking company, working at the cutting-edge UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) in Coventry.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance for Electrical Building Services Plant and Systems, ensuring compliance with client and statutory requirements.
* Complete remedial works identified through PPM and reactive requests.
* Carry out a variety of tasks including emergency light testing, PAT testing, lighting upgrades, office refurbishments, motor installations, and fault diagnosis.
* Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard.
* Keep site documentation up to date and ensure compliance records are maintained for electrical systems.
* Assist in supervising subcontractor works, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
* Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule with onsite parking available!
What We’re Looking For
We seek an experienced electrical technician who is dedicated to delivering high-quality building services in a commercial environment, with a strong focus on customer service.
You should have:
* NVQ Level 2-3 in Electrical Discipline or City and Guilds equivalent.
* 18th Edition certification.
* C&G 2391 / AM2 (advantageous).
* Ability to undertake remedial and reactive repairs with minimal supervision.
* IOSH Working / Managing Safely (desirable).
* Experience with Safe System of Work Procedures (PTW; RAMS, etc.) (desirable).
* L8 Training (desirable).
