What you will do Act as the Children's Guardian in family court proceedings, ensuring children's welfare and best interests are central to all decisions. Carry out comprehensive safeguarding assessments and risk analyses to inform court recommendations. Prepare high-quality Section 7 and Section 37 reports for submission to the court. Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to judges and contribute to key family court decisions. Work directly with children and families to understand their experiences, wishes, and feelings. Collaborate effectively with local authorities, legal professionals, and partner agencies. Present evidence and professional opinion during court hearings as required. Maintain accurate, timely case records in line with organisational and statutory standards. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and statutory frameworks, including the Children Act.
