Job Title: Electromechanical Fitter / Installer (multiple positions available)
Location: Winchcombe, Gloucestershire (offices between Cheltenham & Tewkesbury)
Salary: £15.00–£17.50 per hour DOE + Overtime at 1.5x
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–14:00 (40 hours/week)
Travel: Approximately 30–40% (UK & North America)
A leading specialist in bespoke factory automation and control systems is looking for a skilled Electromechanical Fitter/Installer to join their growing team. This is an exciting hands-on role working on diverse projects, including conveyors, robotics, packaging machinery, and vision inspection systems.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Mechanical assembly of industrial machinery and automation systems in-house and onsite
2. Occasional electrical wiring and control system support.
3. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and method statements.
4. Travel to UK and North American customer sites (typically up to 2 weeks at a time up to 5 times a year).
5. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.,
Who We’re Looking For:
6. Apprentice-trained or qualified Mechanical/Electrical Fitter/Assembler.
7. 3+ years’ experience assembling/installing industrial machinery/conveyors.
8. Comfortable using hand and power tools; basic electrical experience advantageous.
9. Experience with pneumatic and electric systems, valves, and medium-sized assemblies.
10. Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.
11. Full UK driving licence and British/EU passport (for travel to USA/Canada).
