Job Title: Site Production Manager
Location: Runcorn, Cheshire.
A globally leading chemical manufacturer based in the Runcorn area is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Site Production Manager to join its innovative and developing team on its COMAH Regulated site.
As an integral member of the Operations team, the Site Production Manager will be responsible for maintaining quality management systems, optimising plant performance, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements in health and safety.

Role Overview
The Site Production Manager will be a key member of the site Operations team, directly reporting to the UK Operations Director. The role involves significant interaction with Sales, Customer Service, Stock Control, External Customers, Auditors, and Regulators across the UK.
Responsibilities include taking accountability and leadership of manufacturing activities across UK operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and profitable delivery of business objectives, and maintaining and optimizing quality management systems within company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, lead, and implement operating strategies and plans for all production areas.
* Own and deliver departmental budgets for operating costs, OEE, and capital budgets.
* Lead by example on HSEQ&S matters and promote a safety culture.
* Participate proactively in site management processes and support continuous improvement.
* Build and maintain strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with the UK Operations Director on budgets and with Engineering Managers on Capex programmes.
* Champion a continuous improvement culture across the site and manufacturing areas.
Experience and Qualifications Needed
* Minimum 10 years of industry experience within chemical manufacturing.
* Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related scientific field.
* Minimum 5 years of senior management experience (managing managers or senior leadership).
* Experience working on Upper-Tier COMAH sites.
* Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management.
* Formal leadership qualifications.
