A leading independent school in Dorset is seeking a talented Physics Teacher to join their highly regarded Science Department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent post, offering the chance to work with motivated students in a school renowned for academic excellence and innovation in science education.


About the Role

The appointed teacher will teach Physics from KS3 to KS5, encouraging curiosity and scientific thinking through experimentation and enquiry. They will work with enthusiastic students who thrive on challenge and are eager to explore complex concepts.

Teachers are encouraged to design lessons that combine theoretical understanding with practical application, using state-of-the-art laboratories and resources to enhance learning.


Key Responsibilities

* Teach engaging Physics lessons across KS3–KS5.

* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

* Incorporate modern technology and experimentation into teaching.

* Support extracurricular science clubs and physics competitions.

* Mentor students interested in university-level Physics or Engineering.

* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Science curriculum.

Experience and Qualifications
