We’re searching for a hands-on Electronics Engineer to join a high-calibre, collaborative engineering team designing cutting-edge defence technology. What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading the architecture and detailed design of electronic solutions.
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to deliver successful design outcomes.
* Designing electronics that are optimised for manufacture, test, and smooth production handover.
* Supporting system integration, including hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding.
* Producing high-quality technical documentation, schematics, and Bills of Materials in line with company standards.
* Providing occasional on-site support for installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
What You’ll Bring
* A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
* Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (essential).
* Broad analogue and digital electronics design experience, including:
* Low-noise power supply and distribution
* Analogue signal conditioning
* Data acquisition systems
* FPGA-based control
* EMC-compliant design
* A proven track record across the full electronics product lifecycle — from specification and circuit design through validation, compliance, and formal acceptance.
* Experience with ECAD tools (Cadence OrCAD desirable).
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fault-find down to component level.
