We successfully deliver complex turnkey engineering projects in sectors such as Process & Water, Energy, Defence, Oil & Gas and Nuclear.
We have new water projects starting across the Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset region. To support this we are looking for to appoint an Electrical supervisor to be based initially on a waste water upgrade project near Bournemouth.
Duties include but are not limited to;
1. Report to & support the Site Manager supervising electrical installation works
2. Work alongside other trades in the utilities Industry
3. Day to day planning, organising, supervision and control of electrical installation and testing works on electrical equipment
4. Scoping new works, surveys, etc.
5. Supervision of direct workforce and overseeing of subcontractor works
6. Ensuring company safety policies are adhered to at all times
7. Communicating plans, programmes and safe systems of work with project stakeholders and ensuring their understanding and compliance
Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to health & safety ensuring that tasks are planned and executed safely and efficiently.
Required Skills/Qualifications
8. Installation background within the water, power or other heavier industrial sectors
9. SSSTS / SMSTS
10. JIB Electrician
11. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
12. Electrical Trade Skills demonstrated by NVQ/Apprenticeship
13. ECS/CSCS Card
14. Full UK Driving License
15. Computer Literate

16. C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations
17. C&G Medium Risk Confined Space
18. Mobile Tower Erection (e.g. PASMA)
19. Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (e.g. IPAF)
20. First Aid at Work
21. Familiarity with MCCs a bonus
