Your leadership in developing & executing a robust fundraising strategy will directly provide the financial resources necessary to deliver our first-ever Pride celebration in June 2026 and ongoing year-round events, campaigns, and community initiatives. By securing donations, grants, & corporate sponsorships, you will strengthen CT5 Pride’s financial foundations and enable us to expand our reach and services. Your ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, businesses, and funding partners will not only generate essential income but also build long-term partnerships that enhance our reputation and visibility. Your strategic insight will drive innovative fundraising campaigns, community appeals, and high-impact sponsorship opportunities that engage supporters at every level. Through your efforts, CT5 Pride will be positioned as a trusted, professional, and impactful organisation worthy of investment from individuals, businesses, and funding bodies alike. Beyond revenue generation, your role will help embed a culture of philanthropy & partnership, ensuring fundraising is integrated across all areas of our work. You will advocate for our mission & values, inspiring confidence in stakeholders and securing the backing needed to champion LGBTQIA+ inclusion locally. Ultimately, your impact will be felt in everything we do, every campaign we run. By driving sustainable income and sponsorship, you will be instrumental in ensuring CT5 Pride not only thrives but also creates a lasting legacy of visibility, celebration, and equality for LGBTQIA+ people in the CT5 area.
What are we looking for?
* Essential Criteria Applicants must be 18 years of age or over with no unspent convictions.
* Be fluent in English written and spoken.
* Not be barred from working with Children or vulnerable people.
* A commitment to LGBTQIA+ inclusion and community-led values.
* Willingness & ability undertake an active hands-on role.
* Strong Confident & Sales oriented person, Minimum 5 years in fundraising, sponsorship, or a similar senior role, with a proven record of securing major donations, corporate sponsorships, and grants.
* Proven experience developing and executing fundraising strategies.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving fundraising initiatives.
* Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
* Strong project management abilities, with experience managing multiple campaigns and meeting fundraising targets.
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally with senior leadership and other departments.
* Proven ability to write compelling grant applications, including detailed proposals, reports, & managing the full grant lifecycle.
* Experience in researching and identifying potential sponsors, and creating and presenting tailored sponsorship packages that align with organisational goals.
* Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms in sponsorship agreements, ensuring both the organization and sponsors achieve their objectives.
* Comfortable with networking and outreach, particularly via LinkedIn and other professional channels, to identify new sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
* Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for fundraising & creating digital sponsorship content.
* Ability to develop innovative fundraising ideas and sponsorship proposals that stand out in a competitive market.
* Desirable Criteria: Experience in non-profit marketing or working with community-centered organisations is a plus.
* Experience in promoting community events or large-scale initiatives, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ space.
* Established network within the corporate, nonprofit, and philanthropic communities, particularly those interested in supporting LGBTQIA+ initiatives.
* Have professional experience in event and marketing sponsorship opportunities.
