We’re working with a growing managed services provider that's expanding its support team due to continued success and new client wins. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer looking to build on their experience and progress in a fast-paced and tech-focused environment.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, fully on-site role based at the company's Borehamwood office. You’ll be responsible for delivering and maintaining clients’ IT infrastructure—primarily built on modern Microsoft technologies. While the majority of the work is office-based, occasional travel to client sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st/ 2nd line support for client environments
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
* Escalate tickets when appropriate while maintaining ownership
* Support cloud and on-prem infrastructure (MS 365, Azure, Windows Server)
* Contribute to project rollouts and system upgrades
* Deliver excellent customer service across all touchpoints
* Minimum 2–3 years in a 1st Line or 2nd Line support
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Experience supporting the following:
* Microsoft 365
* Active Directory/Entra
* Windows Server 2022
* Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
* Windows Server 2025 (preview/build exposure)
* Security platforms such as Barracuda or Mimecast
* Basic firewall & networking experience (e.g., SonicWall, UniFi, HPE Aruba)
* Exposure to device management and endpoint security
