The events team for Portsmouth Harbour sites are passionate in their ambition to deliver world class events in our unique venue spaces. This team is responsible for events across the Portsmouth and Gosport sites, whether this be weddings, corporate dinners, ticketed party events or working with our fundraising and partnership colleagues to deliver networking events.
What you can bring:
* Involvement with venue hire and/or commercial filming including an understanding of entertainment and licencing regulations.
* Demonstratable understanding of sales and negotiation principles.
* Excellent administration and organisational skills.
* Demonstrable experience of delivering successful events.
* Track record of delivering an outstanding customer experience. Experience of working in a customer focused environment Ability to work as a team, especially in times of change.
* Budget management and cost control.
* Experience of leading and motivating a team with excellent people management skills, acting as a role model.
* Experience of working in a complex multi stakeholder organisation.
* Ability to work independently and organise and prioritise workload to meet changing demands and comply with tight deadlines.
* Experience of process improvement/quality improvement.
