We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant and Midday Supervisor to work closely with pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support and pastoral care throughout the school day.
What You’ll Be Doing
•Support children's learning and emotional development in the classroom.
•Supervise and care for pupils during lunch and playtimes.
•Encourage interaction, independence and positive behaviour.
•Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement support strategies.
What We are Looking For
•Level 1 or 2 Diploma (or equivalent) and strong practical skills.
•Previous experience working with children in an educational or care setting.
•Solid literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
•Strongmunication and interpersonal abilities.
•The confidence to motivate and engage children in their learning.
•Apassionate approach, recognising the individual needs of pupils.
•Understanding of child protection, safeguarding, and inclusive practices.
•The right to work in the UK (NO VISA SPONSORSHIP)
•Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willing to apply for one through Hays with no upfront cost
