About the Role
Joining a fun, outgoing and hugely talented legal team, you will serve as the go-to legal adviser on all matters relating to podcasting. This is a high-impact position, ideal for a confident and commercially minded legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and advise on negotiations for Podcast and Presenter Agreements, including contracts with podcast talent, production companies, and radio presenters
* Draft and negotiate commercial deals for podcast monetisation, digital content distribution, and licensing agreements
* Provide general commercial legal support to the broader Audio & Commercial Legal Team, covering sponsorship, supplier, brand, IP, and other key agreements
* Support on dispute management, template development, and risk assessment
* Mentor junior team members, sharing your expertise and guiding professional growth
* Collaborate with and advise senior stakeholders across the organisation and become a trusted advisor on business-critical decisions
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Proven experience as a media lawyer, with expertise in podcasting, IP, talent agreements, digital content, commercial contracts, and advertising
* A strong commercial mindset and a deep understanding of the media, entertainment, and digital advertising landscapes
* A proactive, collaborative style with experience advising senior stakeholders and delivering pragmatic legal guidance
* The ability to work across multiple and complex legal matters and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
