Overview
I'm working with a well established and popular employer within the Peterborough area to find their new Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
* Process invoices and payments and reconcile accounts
* Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets
* Stationary supplies and office consumables ordering
* Assist in reconciling monthly credit cards
* Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
* Perform general administrative tasks as needed within the finance department from time to time
* Maintain a record of all current VISAs and support applications for new VISAs with our 3rd party service provider
* Highlight to management travel requested outside of policy/guidelines
* Handle travel requests and book flights and hotels for engineers and record details on a centralised system
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in an accounting role ideally with some purchase ledger or credit control experience.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Well organised and confident in dealing with a range of internal stakeholders
Salary: £26k - £27,500k depending on experience, plus bonus
Job Type: Full-Time 37.5 hr role. Mon - Fri 0830-1700
