Prosper Together Multi Academy Trust, Prosper Together is a five school Multi Academy Trust (MAT) based in North Solihull (Castle Bromwich Infant & Nursery School, Castle Bromwich Junior School, Fordbridge Primary School, Kingshurst Primary School and Windy Arbor Primary School). We are seeking a Governance Professional & Clerk to Trustees to be part of our evolving Trust. It is an administrative and advisory role to the Trust board. The postholder will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within the Trust, ensuring governance adheres to good practice and meets all statutory and regulatory requirements. The postholder will be the Company Secretary for the Trust and be responsible for the Trust’s Policy Framework. We are seeking to appoint a committed, reliable, conscientious and enthusiastic individual.
Responsibilities and duties
* Oversee all aspects of governance effectiveness and compliance within the Trust, ensuring governance adheres to good practice and meets statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Act as Company Secretary for the Trust and manage the Trust’s Policy Framework.
* Provide administrative and advisory support to the Trust Board, with the ability to challenge the Board to ensure robust accountability, oversight and assurance for educational and financial performance.
Person specification / Qualifications
* Extremely organised, meticulous to detail with excellent time and project management skills to meet deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in working with decision-making bodies and communicating confidently with them.
* Confidence to challenge the Trust Board to create robust accountability, oversight and assurance for the Trust’s educational and financial performance.
* Experience as an administrator; experience within the educational sector is highly desirable.
