We are looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver with a professional manner to join our team based in Derby. The ideal candidate will need to interact with customers and staff in a professional manner.
You will be required to deliver and collect cars from branches and customers throughout the UK, driving articulated and rigid car transporters.Day-to-day dutiesLoading and unloading cars onto our state-of-the-art car transporterRoute planning on a daily basisCommunicating with customers and colleagues in a professional manner to ensure prompt delivery of vehiclesInspecting cars for damage prior to collection and deliveryMaintaining the company's high standards and ensuring customers have a positive overall experienceEssential skills and experienceA Class 2 HGV driving qualificationGood communication skillsA team playerA valid driving licence and a minimum of one years' driving experienceNice to have but not essentialPrevious car transport experience would be beneficial but not essentialPrevious experience of multi-drop deliveries in London would be beneficialFull training will be provided by our in-house driver training teamOur CultureArnold Clark is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
