We're looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programmer to support new projects and improve existing production processes. This role focuses on creating and optimising CNC programmes (3, 4, & 5 axis), improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing. You'll be involved in setting up new products, refining current processes, and making sure everything runs smoothly on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Create and develop CNC programmes, including tooling, setup sheets, and proving programmes into production Improve manufacturing methods to achieve the best quality at the lowest cost Manage and maintain all process elements (tooling, fixtures, CNC programmes, routing, etc.) Work closely with Quality to ensure inspection requirements are built into processes Select appropriate materials and tooling to meet production needs Identify cost-saving opportunities and support efficiency improvements Deliver projects on time and within budget Support process documentation and standardisation Assist with new product introduction and lifecycle planning Ensure processes meet quality system requirements Stay up to date with new manufacturing technologies and suggest improvements Support problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and corrective actionsExperience Required Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications Experience with CNC machining (milling and ...
