HV Manager (400kV SAP) Doncaster | UK Are you a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to 400kV? An opportunity has arisen to act as the HV authority for large-scale, transmission-connected energy assets forming part of one of the UK’s largest BESS portfolios. This is a transmission-level operational authority role. You will: Operate as a Senior Authorised Person up to 400kV Own and develop HV safety rules and switching regimes Act as HV SME for grid interfaces, protection, and operational integrity Set standards that will scale across a multi-gigawatt portfolio You will bring: Current or recent SAP authorisation to 400kV Experience writing or materially shaping HV safety rules Operational experience within transmission, DNO, or large-scale generation The credibility to challenge and uphold standards under pressure If you are a 400kV SAP and want to shape the HV framework for one of the UK’s most significant energy portfolios, this is worth a conversation.
