About the Role
As a Biomedical Project Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing cutting‑edge biomedical solutions across our dynamic product portfolio. From concept development to end‑of‑life, you’ll support the entire engineering lifecycle, ensuring every solution is robust, innovative, and impactful. You’ll champion safety, quality, and compliance while balancing cost and schedule to achieve outstanding results. What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide engineering design input to new systems and products and support the existing product range by assessing technical queries.
* Liaise with internal JFD departments such as sales, supply chain and production to ensure the best technical solution is provided in all instances.
* Create part numbers and bill of materials and source suitable components and materials when required.
* Produce engineering documentation such as specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures, certification and reports and check detailed manufacturing drawings and documentation.
* Ensure engineering solutions are provided on time and on budget and adhere to engineering and company standards and processes (compliance to internal and external standards and regulations).
What We’re Looking For
* Degree‑qualified in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent, or equivalent industry experience.
* Prior experience in biomedical new product development.
* Proven experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools for engineering documentation and compliance.
* Software development experience would be advantageous.
* Medical device test and verification experience would be advantageous.
* Experience working within a medical quality management system would be advantageous (e.g. ISO 13485).
* Early finish on Fridays.
