This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a major infrastructure scheme, supporting senior leadership with high-quality project insight, reporting, and controls. The successful candidate will be based on-site and will support the Project Management team in driving performance, governance, and informed decision-making across the project lifecycle. Project Controls Manager Salary & Benefits Salary up to £50,000 (DOE) 25 days holiday Bank Holidays Car Allowance Bonus Pension scheme Opportunity to work on a major long-term infrastructure project Career progression within a growing civil engineering contractor Project Controls Manager Job Overview Provide project controls insight to support strategic and operational decision-making Produce and manage monthly reporting, dashboards, and performance updates for senior management and stakeholders Monitor project performance using Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, and data-driven dashboards Support senior leadership meetings, project reviews, and performance discussions Assist in managing and structuring project scope changes in line with contract requirements Coordinate project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and tracking Develop and maintain project structures, reporting frameworks, and organisational maps Work closely with Project Planners to maintain and update project programmes Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls systems, tools, and processes Project Controls Manager Job Requirements Degree qualified in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar Experience working on large, complex construction or infrastructure projects Strong understanding of project planning, reporting, and controls methodologies Experience with Design & Build (D&B) projects Knowledge of NEC contracts and change management processes (advantageous) Proficient in Excel (including queries) and Power BI for reporting and data analysis Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior stakeholders Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM/information management systems CSCS Card (Manager or Academically Qualified) Full UK Driving Licence Role & Development Ability to work independently while acting as a technical point of reference within the team Opportunity to drive process improvements and system enhancements across project controls Exposure to senior leadership and involvement in key project decision-making Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
