Title: Finance Assistant Type: Fixed Term (12 months) Hours: Part Time ( 20 hours per week, Mon - Fri) Location: Inverness (free parking on site) Salary: £13.25 per hour Details: Our client is looking to appoint a reliable and organised Finance Assistant to join their team based in Inverness. The role is part-time, 20 hrs per week ideally over 5 days but with some flexibility offered. This is a fixed term 12-month Maternity Cover role. Key Responsibilities Processing and reconciling sales and purchase invoices. Bank account reconciliations. Updating and maintaining accurate financial records. Daily use of financial software systems and MS Office as well as an in house database. Operating with accuracy and attention to detail in all record keeping. Answering enquiries by telephone and email. Dealing with colleagues, customers and other contacts in a professional manner. Person Specification Previous experience in a similar accounts/bookkeeping role. Strong IT skills including financial software systems. Strong organisational skills and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
