We’re working on behalf of a fast-growing SaaS company to find an experienced and hands-on Head of QA to join their engineering team in a full-time role. This is a pivotal position for someone who can bring a strategic mindset while staying close to day-to-day operations, helping shape and strengthen the QA function to support ambitious growth plans.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead software testing efforts (functional, performance, regression) for web and mobile platforms.
* Build upon and advance the existing test automation strategy.
* Support the Head of Engineering with release cycles and quality processes.
* Create and execute test cases to ensure QA best practices are met.
* Run and manage both manual and automated tests.
* Identify, track, and report defects with clarity.
* Collaborate with developers and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Mentor junior QA staff and help embed a culture of continuous improvement.
* Clearly communicate findings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
* Maintain high-quality documentation including test cases, results, and bug reports.
What They're Looking For:
* 3+ years in a similar QA leadership or senior-level QA role.
* Proficiency in JavaScript and automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
* Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication abilities.
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach in fast-moving environments.
Bonus Points For:
* Experience with mobile testing.
* Familiarity with Git & GitHub.
* ISTQB certification.
